The whole of Newtownmountkennedy came to a complete stand still, they had never had anything like it before, even the hotel ran out of room and chairs!

We sold over 500 books on the evening and people are looking for and ordering more books, the CEO of Cancer Ireland made a surprise visit and did an amazing speech, Junior Minster Simon Harris also was amazing, he was to leave early but because of the unbelievable crowds and atmosphere he stayed much later. I got a huge standing ovation for my speech that brought me to tears, the whole evening was just filled with love and is something none of us will ever forget.
