We love this!  Great piece in The Times today on the author LJ Ross. She’s just made history as the first self-published author to be nominated for a British Book Award. She said that “the growth in the number of freelance cover designers, proofreaders and editors in the past 20 years meant that self-publishing writers were able to produce works of a “comparable quality” with the big publishing houses.” ….and “It is no exaggeration to say that in general there has not been a better time because all the tools are out there.”
